Ferry Schedule and Tickets

* We strongly recommend being on no later ferry than the 10a.m. if you are in the 10k event.

Race Kit Pickup

Race kit pick up will be at The Runners Shop, 180 Bloor Street West.  Nearest subway stations are St. George (take the Bedford Street exit) and Museum.  Find them here.

Please note, there will be no race bib pick up on event day, Sunday, September 9th, 2018. 

Course Information

The course…is really flat! Note the mix of grass, boardwalk and pavement on the course map.

Accurate distance markers at 1 mile and at each km.

The 5k race course is the 2nd half of the 10k. Both races start in the same place next to the water, south of the pavilion.

Course Accreditation

The Toronto Island 5k and 10k race courses are certified AAA by the Athletics Ontario, ON-2014-088-BDC -5k, ON-2014-089-BDC -10 k

Water Stations

Water stations will be set up at the 3k, 5k and 7.5k mark of the 10k race and at the 2.5k mark of the 5k race.

Race Bibs

Bibs must be pinned (unmodified and fully visible) to the front of your shirt and displayed throughout the entire race. Should you decide not to run the event and find another participant to use your bib, please have the bib transferred with the substitute’s full registration information before the event. Transfers will be accepted at race kit pick up (The Runners Shop) and up to 10am on event day at the pavilion. We strongly recommend you fill out the Emergency Contact information on the back of the bib. Bibs are required to pick up baggage after the race and to get your post race food, so look after them!

Timing Chips

A disposable timing chip will be attached to your race bib. It requires no activation.

Finish Line Etiquette

Please keep moving once you cross the finish line to avoid congestion in the chute. Only runners allowed in the finish chute. If you are waiting for a participants, kindly wait outside of the chute.

Baggage Check

Baggage Check is provided free to all runners near the finish line. Your bib number will be required to pick up baggage after the race. Baggage check will open at 9:30 a.m. on race day.

Come spend the day on beautiful Toronto Island with us and race our 10k or 5k, watch the kids run, enjoy our delicious BBQ and take home one of our many prizes. Be part of the tradition.

 

The city of Toronto now provides online ticket sale service for ferry tickets for your convenience. Therefore our registration fee has been reduced to reflect this change and will not cover your ferry ticket.  You must now purchase these ahead of time online.
